We are currently looking for an experienced Sub Contract Intruder Alarm Engineer to work across commercial and domestic sites throughout Essex, carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), servicing, and reactive works on a range of intruder alarm systems.
This is a strong opportunity for a self-sufficient engineer who can work independently, manage their own schedule, and deliver a high standard of service to clients.
Duties will include:
- Planned preventative maintenance on intruder alarm systems
- Routine servicing, inspections, and testing
- Fault finding and first-time fixes where possible
- Minor remedial works and component replacements
- Completing service sheets and compliance paperwork accurately
- Working across multiple client sites in line with company procedures
Requirements:
- Proven experience working on intruder alarm systems
- Knowledge of a range of manufacturers and systems
- Strong fault-finding ability
- Relevant industry qualifications preferred
- ECS / CSCS beneficial
- Own van, tools, and test equipment
- Good customer-facing manner and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
