Our client is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Estimator to join their growing team at their Kent office. This role supports tenders and quotations on projects valued up to £250,000.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate estimates and quotations for fire alarm systems
- Review specifications, drawings and tender documentation
- Liaise with suppliers for material and equipment pricing
- Work closely with project and design teams to ensure proposals are compliant
- Produce cost breakdowns and supporting documentation for submissions
- Assist with value engineering and alternative proposals when required
- Maintain accurate records of estimates and associated correspondence
Experience & Skills Required:
- Proven experience estimating fire alarm projects up to £250,000
- Strong knowledge of BS5839 and relevant industry standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/specifications
- Excellent communication and commercial awareness
- Strong IT skills (Excel essential)
- Fire & Security industry background essential
