Vehicle Technician / HGV Mechanic Location: Radlett, Hertfordshire Salary: £40,000 basic per annum Permanent, Full-Time Our client is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join their team in Radlett. They are open to candidates from either a light vehicle, car, van or HGV / commercial vehicle background. This is a great opportunity for an experienced mechanic looking to secure a stable permanent position with a competitive £40,000 basic salary. The role will involve carrying out servicing, maintenance, inspections, repairs and fault diagnosis across a range of vehicles. Candidates from either a car mechanic, vehicle technician, van technician, HGV mechanic, HGV technician or commercial vehicle technician background will be considered. Key responsibilities include: * Vehicle servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs * Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults * Carrying out inspections and routine checks * Using diagnostic equipment to identify faults * Replacing and repairing mechanical components * Ensuring vehicles are maintained to a high standard We are interested in speaking with candidates with previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, Car Mechanic, Light Vehicle Technician, Van Mechanic, HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, LGV Technician, Commercial Vehicle Technician or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic. An NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair would be advantageous, although relevant hands-on experience will also be considered.
