The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire & Security Installation Engineer to join a well-established and growing fire and security company. Due to continued growth and an increasing project workload across the South West, our client is looking to add a skilled engineer to their installation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer looking for long-term career progression, strong earning potential, and the chance to work on a variety of commercial, industrial, and residential projects.

Role & Responsibilities
As a Fire & Security Installation Engineer, your duties will include:
- Installation of Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems
- Working across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, and residential sites
- Installing and commissioning a range of industry-leading systems
- Ensuring all installations are completed to current industry standards and regulations
- Conducting testing and commissioning of newly installed systems
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer service
- Completing all relevant documentation accurately and on time
- Working independently and as part of a wider engineering team
Skills & Experience Required
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Experience installing Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems
- Good understanding of relevant British Standards and industry regulations
- Strong fault-finding and commissioning skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Professional attitude with excellent customer-facing skills
- Experience within commercial environments highly desirable

- ECS / CSCS Card
- IPAF
- City & Guilds Electrical Qualification
- Manufacturer training certificates
- Relevant fire and security industry qualifications
