My client is an established engineering company who are looking to bring on board a project planner to join their company, due to their success in winning a contract for some works. The client does a mixture of Civils and Electircal works, and sepcalise in working on large utility based projects, such as National Grid. This role will provide the opportunity for someone to work on a hybrid basis, doing a mixture of office based work and work from home. My client has long term frameworks in place working with Tier 1 clients on projects within the UK.With a constant stream of winning tenders and an order book being filled our client is looking for an experienced Planner who is looking for longevity, stability and a making a firm name for themselves in the structure of the company. Benefits * 33 Days Holiday (including bank holiday) * Pension Scheme * Annual Saalry review and Appriasal * 24 Hour Virtual GP * Childcare Vouchers * Healthcare Key Responsilbities * Provide planning and resource scheduling support for Project Managers & Engineering design team * Prepare, monitor, co-ordinate and maintain detailed project schedules encompassing design, construction and commissioning * Regular liaison with client, project team, sub-contractors and suppliers * Ensure that all schedule adhere to contractual requirements * Ensure that project schedules are fully monitored during the entire project life cycle (planning through to execution) * Assist and support in preparing department resource loading and allocation * Maintain schedule information to enable accurate records of contract history to be accessed * Support the Project Manager in effective scenario and resource planning activities * Ensure that head office requirements are fully understood and integrated into the planning functions * Identification & implementation of project planning processes & procedures * Support, assist and coach less experienced planners and design coordinators If this seems of any interest, please feel free to apply or contact Adam on the details attached
