We are recruiting for an experienced Security Service Engineer to join a well-established security systems company covering London and surrounding areas. The role focuses on the service, maintenance, fault-finding and repair of CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems across commercial and enterprise-level sites. This position offers structured manufacturer training on high-end, enterprise security systems, including Lenel OnGuard, C•CURE 9000 and Genetec, making it ideal for engineers looking to progress into enterprise CCTV and Access Control environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service and maintenance of IP CCTV systems
- Fault-finding and repair of Access Control systems
- Service and maintenance of Intruder Alarm systems
- Working on commercial and enterprise security systems
- Field-based service role covering multiple customer sites across London
- Working with a range of security system manufacturers
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and compliance
- Providing excellent customer service and communication
- Accurate completion of service reports and documentation
Skills & Experience:
- Experience as a Security Engineer, CCTV Engineer, Access Control Engineer or Fire & Security Engineer
- Strong background in CCTV, Access Control or Intruder Alarm systems
- Engineers with experience in one discipline encouraged to apply
- Interest in developing skills on enterprise-level security systems (training provided)
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Ability to work independently in a field-based service role
- Desirable certifications: IPAF, CSCS, ECS, FIA, City & Guilds
Salary & Benefits:
- £42,000 – £46,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
