I require an experienced Project Manager that has experience in HV electrical systems to work on a long term role in the Newport area for the next 2 years on a contract basis. Payments are £550 - 650 a shift + Outside IR35 + 2 Years + Weekly payments.

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the design and installation of HV Electrical projects. Responsibilities will include:

  • Working alongside design teams and coordinating works on site
  • Weekly coordination calls to ensure that all programmes are met, that delivery dates do not slip, and quality is maintained
  • Understanding the stages and milestones of the project life cycle, working alongside the contract administrator and cost consultants
  • Ensuring the project documentation is being correctly administered and maintained on project document control portals, identifying and resolving gaps
  • Overseeing subcontractors
  • Good knowledge of Health and Safety requirements
  • Delivering these projects in accordance with a programme of works
  • Foreseeing any issues and working with all stakeholders to resolve them
  • Reporting into the Senior Project Manager

The projects require someone with good HV power experience, so it is essential you have an understanding of these works.
