Job Description
Our client is a well-established Mechanical & Electrical Engineering company seeking to appoint an MEP Design Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will support the Design Engineering Manager throughout the full project lifecycle. This role involves proactive collaboration with design engineers and subject matter experts, ensuring the successful delivery of RIBA Stages 3, 4, and 5.\\n\\nResponsibilities:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Lead and document regular design reviews\\n\\n * \\n\\n Facilitate coordination between design engineers, architects, contractors, structural engineers, and specialist consultants, ensuring seamless integration of designs and alignment with overall project objectives.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Promote and embed health and safety considerations throughout the design process, ensuring that safe-by-design principles are applied in accordance with relevant legislation and project-specific requirements.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Manage design deliverables in line with the requirements of CDM 2015.\\n\\nWhat they are looking for?\\n\\n * Proven design experience within the MEP sector\\n\\n * Proven experience working as a design manager\\n\\n * Someone who can track design progress against milestones\\n\\n * Maintain excellent communication and relations with clients\\n\\n * Understanding of design platforms such as CAD\\n\\n * Ensures compliance with project standards, quality managements systems and technical requirements.
