We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to deliver a range of mechanical building services projects across London and Hertfordshire. This role will involve managing projects from pre-construction through to final handover, ensuring works are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
Projects typically include mechanical installations, ventilation systems, ductwork, and associated mechanical services, with project values up to approximately £1.5m.
Key Responsibilities- Manage mechanical projects from design coordination to completion and handover
- Take full responsibility for project delivery, programme, cost, and quality
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
- Oversee mechanical installations including:
- Ventilation systems
- Ductwork installations
- General mechanical services
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager or Senior Mechanical Supervisor
- Strong background in mechanical building services
- Experience managing projects up to £1.5m
- Good knowledge of ventilation and ductwork systems
- Strong commercial and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Relevant mechanical or building services qualifications
- SMSTS or equivalent health & safety qualification
- Experience working on commercial or high-end residential projects
- Familiarity with London-based construction environments
- Competitive salary of £70,000 - 80,000
