We are currently recruiting for a skilled Security PPM Engineer to join a wellâestablished and growing security systems company covering Reading and surrounding areas. Due to continued expansion, this is an excellent opportunity for an engineer seeking a stable, longâterm, permanent role focused on planned preventative maintenance within commercial environments.
This is a fullâtime, fieldâbased position working across commercial sites, carrying out scheduled maintenance on a wide range of electronic security systems.
Package & Benefits- Salary ÂŁ42,000-ÂŁ44,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience)

- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems
- Routine servicing and system health checks across commercial sites
- Identifying potential faults and recommending remedial works
- Working with various security system manufacturers
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with industry regulations
- Maintaining clear communication with customers and internal teams
- Completing service reports and documentation accurately and on time
- Supporting service and breakdown engineers when required
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Previous experience as a Security PPM Engineer, Security Service Engineer, or Security Systems Engineer
- Experience maintaining CCTV, Access Control, and/or Intruder Alarm systems
- Familiarity with a range of manufacturers' systems
- Strong attention to detail and preventative maintenance knowledge
- Willingness to undertake additional training
- IPAF, CSCS/ECS, FIA, City & Guilds (desirable)
- Positive attitude and strong selfâmotivation
