We are recruiting for a Junior Security Service Engineer to join a well-established security systems company covering London and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some hands-on experience within the security industry who is looking to develop their skills and build a long-term career. The company provides structured manufacturer training on industry-leading enterprise security systems including Lenel OnGuard, C•CURE 9000 and Genetec, giving you the opportunity to progress into high-end commercial security environments.
You will work alongside experienced engineers carrying out planned maintenance, fault finding and servicing of CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems across a variety of commercial sites.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with the service and maintenance of IP CCTV systems
- Support fault finding and repairs on Access Control systems
- Carry out planned maintenance on Intruder Alarm systems
- Work alongside senior engineers on commercial and enterprise security systems
- Attend customer sites across London
- Learn and develop knowledge across a range of leading security manufacturers
- Complete service reports and job documentation accurately
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high standards of workmanship
- Previous experience within the Fire & Security or Electronic Security industry
- Experience with CCTV, Access Control or Intruder Alarm systems
- Ideal for a junior engineer or improver looking to progress their career
- Keen to learn enterprise security systems with full manufacturer training provided
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- CSCS, ECS or relevant security qualifications would be beneficial but are not essential
- Basic salary up to £38,000 depending on experience
