Are you an experienced Active Fire Project Manager looking to take your career in a new direction? If you've built your career delivering fire alarm projects and are ready to influence projects before they reach site, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.
We're recruiting for an Active Fire Pre-Construction Project Manager to join one of the UK's fastest-growing life safety businesses. You'll be based from the London office, but this is a national role, requiring travel across the UK to carry out client meetings, site surveys and technical assessments. Previous pre-construction experience isn't essential. We're looking for Project Managers with a strong background in Active Fire Alarm systems who want to broaden their skillset and move into a commercially focused role.
The Opportunity
Instead of managing projects once they're live, you'll help shape them from day one—working with clients, surveyors, estimators and operational teams to ensure projects are technically compliant, commercially viable and ready for successful delivery. This is a fast-paced role with high expectations, but it offers outstanding career progression within a business that genuinely rewards ambition and performance.

- Travel throughout the UK to undertake surveys, client meetings and technical reviews
- Produce scopes of work and support estimating activities
- Ensure compliance with relevant fire safety standards and regulations
- Work closely with delivery teams to ensure smooth project mobilisation
- Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience delivering Active Fire Alarm projects
- Strong technical knowledge of fire alarm systems
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills
- Willingness to travel nationally as part of the role
- A desire to progress into pre-construction and develop your career
What's on Offer?
- Up to £75,000 basic salary
- Car Allowance
- Quarterly Bonus of up to 50%
- Unlimited Annual Leave
- Paid Lunch Every Day
- Hybrid working
- Clear career progression into senior leadership
- Join one of the UK's most ambitious life safety businesses
If you're looking to move beyond project delivery and play a key role in winning, shaping and mobilising projects across the UK, we'd love to hear from you.
