Job Title: IMI MET Technician
Location: Canterbury
Salary: £22 - £24 per hour

About the Role
Our client is a well-established automotive business with a busy workshop in Canterbury, and they are currently looking for an experienced IMI-qualified MET Technician to join their growing team.
This role will focus on the mechanical, electrical and trim aspects of vehicle repair, working alongside a wider bodyshop team to ensure vehicles are repaired safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out mechanical, electrical and trim repairs on a range of vehicles
- Remove and refit mechanical and electrical components
- Diagnose faults and identify additional repair requirements
- Complete strip and refit work to manufacturer and industry standards
- Work closely with body repair technicians and other workshop staff
- Ensure all repairs are completed safely and to a high standard
- Accurately complete job cards and repair documentation
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Work efficiently to meet workshop productivity and quality targets
Requirements
- IMI qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Proven experience as an MET Technician / MET Fitter / Vehicle Technician
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Previous experience within a bodyshop or accident repair environment is highly desirable
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK Driving Licence
