The Role
As a Junior Fire & Security Engineer, you will act as a primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a first-class service experience from start to finish. You will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, installing, and troubleshooting a range of fire and security systems while ensuring all work is completed safely, professionally, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair Fire Alarm, Intruder Alarm, CCTV and Access Control systems
- Attend planned maintenance visits and reactive breakdown calls
- Assist with and undertake new system installations
- Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently
- Ensure all work is completed in line with customer SLAs and KPIs
- Complete accurate service reports and documentation using the company operating platform
- Upload all required documentation promptly and accurately
- Manage vehicle stock and equipment effectively
- Build strong relationships with customers and deliver exceptional service
- Identify and report deficiencies or recommended improvements to existing systems
- Produce quotations for small remedial works where required
- Support trainee engineers and contribute to team development
- Participate in the 24-hour on-call rota
- Maintain company vehicle, tools and equipment
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company standards

- Full UK Driving Licence
- Basic electrical knowledge and understanding
- Previous experience within Fire & Security, Electrical, or Building Services environments
