We are currently recruiting for an experienced SMART Repair Technician to join a busy and growing automotive bodyshop in Coalville. This role is ideal for someone with a background in vehicle repair, cosmetic repair, paint spraying, or panel repair who is looking for a stable, long-term opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out SMART repairs (Small to Medium Area Repair Techniques) on vehicles
- Repair bumper scuffs, scratches, dents, alloy wheels, and minor body damage
- Work on a range of vehicles including cars, commercial vehicles, and fleet vehicles
- Ensure all repairs meet BVRLA / insurance / manufacturer standards
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Proven experience as a SMART Repair Technician / Bodyshop Technician
- Experience in bodyshop, accident repair centre, or vehicle refurbishment environments
- Ability to carry out end-to-end cosmetic vehicle repairs
- Full UK Driving Licence
- High attention to detail with a focus on quality and efficiency
- Experience with alloy wheel refurbishment
- Background in panel beating, vehicle prep, or detailing
- Knowledge of insurance repair processes
- Salary up to £37,000 per annum
