About the Role

Our client is a leading national fleet and vehicle solutions provider, and they are looking for skilled Mobile Vehicle Technicians to join their growing team. This is a field-based role where you'll attend customer sites to carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on light commercial vehicles and vans. You'll be provided with a fully equipped company van, allowing you to deliver high-quality work directly to customers. You'll benefit from a pre-planned diary, giving you structure while still allowing flexibility to manage your day effectively. Your working day starts from when you leave home and ends when you return — offering an excellent work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out mobile servicing, maintenance, and repairs on vans and LCVs
  • Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic equipment
  • Complete inspections, warranty work, and recalls
  • Deliver a high standard of work in line with manufacturer guidelines
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times
  • Accurately complete job sheets and service records
  • Liaise with the workshop for support on more complex repairs

Requirements

  • Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Mobile Technician
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working on vans / light commercial vehicles (desirable)
  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
  • Comfortable working independently in a mobile role
  • Strong customer-facing skills
