Job Title: IMI VDA Location: Gloucester Salary: £42,000 - £45,000 per annum Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Working Hours: Monday to Friday About the Role Our client is a well-established automotive business with a busy bodyshop in Gloucester, and they are currently looking for an experienced IMI-qualified Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities
Inspect accident-damaged vehicles and assess the extent of damage Produce accurate repair estimates and identify all required parts and labour Determine the most appropriate repair methods in line with manufacturer guidelines Liaise with customers, insurers and workshop teams throughout the repair process Monitor repairs and update estimates where additional damage is identified Ensure estimates and repair plans are completed accurately and efficiently Work closely with Panel, MET and Paint Technicians Ensure repairs comply with manufacturer and industry standards Maintain accurate records and repair documentation Support the smooth and efficient running of the bodyshop Requirements IMI qualification in Vehicle Damage Assessment / Estimating Proven experience as a VDA / Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair processes Experience assessing accident-damaged vehicles Excellent understanding of repair methods, parts and labour requirements Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Full UK Driving Licence Whats on Offer £42,000 - £45,000 per annum , depending on experience Monday to Friday working Full-time, permanent position Ongoing training and development Modern bodyshop facilities and systems Stable, long-term opportunity Career progression within an established automotive business
