We are currently recruiting for an experienced Gates and Barriers Engineer to join a leading electronic security provider covering London and the South East. Due to ongoing contracts and continued growth, this is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with experience working on industrial and commercial gate and barrier systems. This is a full-time, field-based role offering a strong basic salary, overtime, company van, and long-term career development within a reputable organisation.

Role & Responsibilities
- Installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of industrial and commercial gates and barriers
- Working on a range of automated gate and barrier systems
- Planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites
- Fault finding and diagnostics on gate automation systems
- Carrying out repairs and remedial works to a high standard
- Supporting ongoing contracts across London and the South East
- Maintaining strong communication with customers and internal teams
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety and industry standards
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience as a Gates and Barriers Engineer or similar role
- Experience working on industrial and commercial gate and barrier systems
- Knowledge of automated gate systems
- Experience with manufacturers such as FAAC, CAME, BFT, BPT, FADINI (advantageous)
- Auto door experience (advantageous)
- Welding and fabrication skills (advantageous)
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
- Full UK driving licence
