We are currently recruiting for an experienced Gates and Barriers Engineer to join a leading electronic security provider covering London and the South East. Due to ongoing contracts and continued growth, this is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with experience working on industrial and commercial gate and barrier systems. This is a full-time, field-based role offering a strong basic salary, overtime, company van, and long-term career development within a reputable organisation.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of industrial and commercial gates and barriers
  • Working on a range of automated gate and barrier systems
  • Planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites
  • Fault finding and diagnostics on gate automation systems
  • Carrying out repairs and remedial works to a high standard
  • Supporting ongoing contracts across London and the South East
  • Maintaining strong communication with customers and internal teams
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety and industry standards

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience as a Gates and Barriers Engineer or similar role
  • Experience working on industrial and commercial gate and barrier systems
  • Knowledge of automated gate systems
  • Experience with manufacturers such as FAAC, CAME, BFT, BPT, FADINI (advantageous)
  • Auto door experience (advantageous)
  • Welding and fabrication skills (advantageous)
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
  • Full UK driving licence
