We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire & Security Sales & Estimating Manager to join a well-established fire and security specialist operating across London and the surrounding areas. This is a senior commercial role responsible for driving business growth, managing tender activity, and overseeing estimating functions within the organisation.
The role suits a commercially astute professional with strong leadership, sales, and estimating experience within the fire and security industry.
Package & Benefits
- Salary £55,000 – £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Role & Responsibilities
- Reviewing all tender and quotation requests, ensuring submissions are accurate and returned within deadlines
- Managing, mentoring, and supporting estimator(s) to ensure accurate costings and margins
- Reviewing all tenders and quotations prior to submission
- Meeting clients to review proposals, develop relationships, and secure new business
- Driving business development strategy and building a sustainable pipeline of work
- Identifying new market opportunities and converting prospects into long-term clients
- Completing pre-contract checks and negotiations prior to project acceptance
- Attending pre-contract and handover meetings with senior project stakeholders
- Maintaining a strong understanding of market conditions, competitors, and industry standards
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in a Sales & Estimating Manager or senior commercial role
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within fire and/or security sales or business development
- Strong background in estimating, costing, budgeting, and financial review
- Experience managing teams or departmental functions
- Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
- Ability to engage with clients at all levels, both technical and non-technical
- Strong understanding of British Standards within the fire and security industry
- Confident using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Self-motivated with strong time management and decision-making abilities
- Proven track record of sales growth and business development success
