The Role:
As a Fire Alarm & Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of a wide range of fire and security systems across commercial and residential properties. The role will primarily focus on fire alarm systems, with full training provided on CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems where required. For ambitious engineers, there is a clear progression path into commissioning and more technical specialist roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, service and maintain fire alarm, CCTV, intruder alarm and access control systems.
- Carry out fault finding, diagnostics and repairs.
- Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits.
- Service and carry out remedial works on fire extinguishers.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant standards and regulations.
