Salary: £40,000 - £44,000 Per annum dependant on experience and qualifications

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Roaming Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) to cover the South West region. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading national bodyshop organisation in a highly varied and mobile role, supporting multiple sites across the region. This position has become available due to internal promotion and offers excellent long-term stability, variety, and career progression.

The Role

As a Roaming VDA, you will:

  • Work across multiple sites within the South West region
  • Support workshops during peak periods, holidays, training, and operational cover
  • Produce accurate vehicle damage assessments and repair estimates
  • Identify correct repair methods in line with manufacturer and Thatcham standards
  • Liaise with insurance companies to obtain repair authorisation
  • Communicate effectively with engineers, technicians, and customers
  • Maintain accurate electronic and manual records of estimates
  • Ensure compliance with BSI safety standards and insurer requirements

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Be a proven Vehicle Damage Assessor / VDA / Estimator
  • Have experience using Audatex
  • Hold an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
  • Hold ATA or IMI accreditation (essential)
  • Have a strong background within a bodyshop environment
  • Hold a full UK Manual Driving Licence
  • Be confident working independently across multiple sites
