Job Title: Vehicle Technician (Vans) Location: Borehamwood Salary: Β£39,729 Basic Salary (Β£45,729 OTE)Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Working Hours: Monday to Friday (with optional overtime)About the RoleOur client is one of the UKs leading vehicle hire and fleet management businesses, and they are currently looking for skilled Vehicle Technicians to join their growing team across multiple sites nationwide.

This role will focus primarily on the maintenance, servicing, and repair of light commercial vehicles (LCVs) and vans , ensuring fleet reliability and safety for a wide customer base.

Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vans and light commercial vehiclesDiagnose faults using the latest diagnostic equipmentComplete MOT preparation and general inspectionsEnsure all work is completed to a high standard in line with manufacturer guidelinesAccurately complete job cards, service records, and compliance paperworkWork efficiently to meet productivity and workshop targetsMaintain a clean, safe, and organised working environmentRequirementsLevel 3 NVQ / City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (preferred)Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / LCV TechnicianStrong diagnostic and fault-finding skillsExperience working on vans or commercial vehicles (highly desirable)Full UK Driving LicenceAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWhats on OfferCompetitive salary + bonus / overtime opportunitiesMonday to Friday working (work-life balance)Ongoing training and developmentOpportunities for career progression within a large national businessModern workshop facilities and up-to-date equipment
