Salary: £40,000 – £65,000 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)

The Role

Our client is looking for an experienced MET Technician to join their growing repair operation. This role is central to the customer journey, working closely with Repair Consultants and the Production team to deliver high-quality vehicle repairs. Reporting directly to the Production Lead, you will be responsible for the removal, assessment, and refitting of mechanical, electrical and trim components, identifying any additional damage and ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards. Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality are essential to maintaining customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Remove, refit and assess mechanical, electrical and trim components
  • Identify and report additional damage accurately
  • Carry out repairs in line with manufacturer and safety standards
  • Work collaboratively with the wider production team
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard

Desirable Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in vehicle mechanical and suspension repairs
  • ATA MET Accreditation
  • LCV experience
  • Relevant mechanical and suspension qualifications
  • Steering geometry alignment and adjustment
  • Glazing experience
  • Air conditioning system evacuation and recharge
  • Experience working with plastic repairs
