About the Role
Our client is a well-established automotive business with a busy workshop in Benfleet, and they are currently looking for an experienced MET Technician to join their growing team. This role will focus on the mechanical, electrical and trim aspects of vehicle repair, working alongside a wider bodyshop team to ensure vehicles are repaired safely and efficiently to a high standard. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced MET Technician looking for competitive hourly rates, consistent twilight shifts, and long-term career opportunities within a busy and professional workshop environment.
- Carry out mechanical, electrical and trim repairs on a range of vehicles
- Remove and refit mechanical and electrical components as required
- Complete strip and refit work to manufacturer and industry standards
- Work closely with body repair technicians and other workshop staff
- Work efficiently to meet workshop productivity and quality targets
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a MET Technician / MET Fitter / Vehicle Technician
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Experience within a bodyshop or accident repair environment is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Relevant automotive qualifications are preferred
