HP4 Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to join a long-term project in Saxmundham, Suffolk. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong electrical construction background, ideally with experience working on substations, power infrastructure or similar projects.
The Role
- You will be responsible for overseeing the electrical construction activities on site, managing teams and subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards.
- The project involves LV electrical systems only; there will be no HV works.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing electrical construction activities on site
- Supervising and coordinating electrical teams and subcontractors
- Overseeing LV electrical works
- Managing ITPs and ensuring quality requirements are met
- Monitoring progress and ensuring works remain on programme
- Coordinating with project management and other site disciplines
- Ensuring all works are carried out safely and in accordance with project requirements
- Supporting the delivery and completion of works on a major substation project
About You
- We are looking for an experienced Electrical Construction Manager with strong electrical construction experience
- Previous experience managing electrical teams and subcontractors
- Experience with ITPs and quality documentation
- A good understanding of LV electrical systems
- Substation or power infrastructure experience is highly desirable
- Strong site management and communication skills
- Ability to work away from home Monday to Friday
