An established engineering contractor has secured a major London Underground contract and is looking for experienced Escalator Engineers to join their growing team across London. This is an excellent opportunity for an Escalator Engineer seeking long-term work on a high-profile infrastructure contract with excellent earning potential, overtime opportunities and career stability.

Duties:

  • Service, maintenance and repair of escalators on London Underground sites
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs)
  • Fault finding, breakdown response and repairs
  • Work across multiple stations throughout London
  • Complete engineering paperwork and compliance documentation
  • Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering or equivalent
  • Previous experience as an Escalator Engineer
  • Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience
  • Experience within transport, rail or high-footfall environments beneficial
  • Ability to work shifts including nights and weekends
  • Full UK driving licence preferred

  • £55,000 - £70,000 basic salary depending on experience
