A growing contractor is seeking an experienced Pre-Construction Director to lead and develop its regional pre-construction function in Edinburgh following the award of a major long-term framework. This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone with a strong background in pre-construction, estimating, bids, commercial strategy and team leadership within the construction sector. The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing the front-end process across a range of projects including building fabric, remediation, refurbishment and passive fire works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the regional pre-construction strategy
  • Manage estimating, cost planning and tender submissions
  • Oversee surveys, scopes of work and technical compliance
  • Identify and mitigate commercial and programme risk
