Our client is a well-established and growing Fire & Security company with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality service and support to customers across the UK.

Due to continued expansion, they are looking to recruit an organised and proactive Service Administrator to join their busy service department.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator looking to join a supportive business with long-term career prospects.

  • Service Administrator – Role and Responsibilities
  • Raise extension requests and ensure they are processed promptly and accurately
  • Contact customers regarding health and safety matters, providing updates where required
  • Support the service team with a wide range of administrative duties
  • Process and raise a high volume of customer orders (approximately 120 per day) when providing cover for colleagues during annual leave or periods of absence, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
  • Maintain accurate customer records and update internal systems
  • Manage incoming emails and respond to customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist with general office administration and provide support across the wider team when required
  • Prioritise workloads effectively to ensure deadlines and service level agreements are met
  • Liaise with engineers, customers and internal departments to ensure the smooth running of the service operation
  • Service Administrator – Skills and Experience Required
  • Previous experience in an Administration, Service Administration or Service Coordination role
  • Fast and accurate data entry and typing skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Reliable, dependable and able to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a flexible approach to work
