The successful candidate will lead the Retail go-to-market strategy across HP’s UK & Ireland consumer portfolio, including Personal Systems, Gaming, Accessories, AI-enabled devices, Print, Consumer Subscription services, and Supplies. The role is responsible for defining and executing commercial strategies across major retail partners, driving growth across omnichannel environments while aligning local execution with broader EMEA and global priorities. It also supports senior leadership in developing strategic sales and pricing plans, while overseeing the sales team to achieve growth and profitability targets. Acting as a trusted advisor to customer leaders, the role manages resource allocation and ensures adherence to legal and ethical standards in all sales activities. It leverages data analytics, forecasting tools, and the latest sales technologies to improve sales accuracy and align offerings with customer requirements, ensuring long-term profitability for the organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Directs strategic account planning to identify, forecast, and mitigate risks and align functional strategies with the organization’s goals.
  • Develops short-term and long-term plans to achieve market growth, revenue, and operating profit goals.
  • Collaborates with pricing teams to establish competitive pricing strategies based on insights from sales data and market trends.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor to customer stakeholders at the leadership level and aligns the organization’s offering with their business strategies and goals.
  • Defines and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepares regular sales reports for senior leadership and stakeholders to measure the success of the sales efforts.
  • Develops and manages the sales department budget, including expenses related to personnel, marketing, technology, and other resources.
  • Improves the accuracy of sales forecasting by implementing advanced data analytics, predictive modeling, and CRM tools.
  • Recruits, hires, and onboards sales professionals at various levels and provides coaching, training, and mentorship to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Ensures that the sales team adheres to all legal and ethical standards, including data protection regulations, industry compliance, and corporate governance.

Education & Experience Recommended:

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 12+ years of job-related and/or management experience, preferably in sales, business management, project management, or a related field.
