This role is responsible for developing an understanding of the organization’s offerings, building strong client relationships and identifying sales opportunities to contribute to the organization’s revenue growth. The role analyzes sales data, promotes account growth and collaborates to create custom solutions as per clients’ needs. The role enhances sales skills through training, stays updated on industry trends and supports in optimizing sales strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develops an understanding of the organization’s products, services, solutions and software including unique value propositions and competitive advantages.
  • Builds professional relationships with clients, gaining a deep understanding of their unique business and IT needs.
  • Identifies sales opportunities related to technical specialties within existing accounts in collaboration with account managers.
  • Analyzes sales data to track progress, contribute to sales forecasting and identify areas for improvement in sales techniques and approaches.
  • Contributes to account growth by identifying upselling and cross‑selling opportunities within existing client accounts.
  • Collaborates with product development teams to create custom solutions or tailor existing offerings to meet specific client needs.
  • Takes ownership of tracking and reporting on key sales metrics and using data‑driven insights to optimize sales strategies.
  • Participates in training sessions and workshops for the sales team to enhance sales techniques and communication skills.
  • Stays updated on industry trends, market dynamics and the competitive landscape to enhance expertise and contribute to market positioning.

Education & Experience

  • Recommended Four‑year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 2‑4 years of work experience preferably in technical selling, consultative selling, account management or a related field or an advanced degree with little or no work experience.
