HP Wolf Security is changing the future of endpoint security through delivering secure PCs with advanced hardware-enforced security features. We are growing the R&D team in Cambridge, UK and we’re looking for an experienced software developer to join the HP Wolf Security R&D team. You will be designing and developing our innovative security solution based on micro-virtualization and contributing to new features and products.

We’re looking for a talented Senior software engineer with background in Browser technologies and C++ development. This is a fantastic full-time opportunity for a collaborative, hands-on and experienced software developer to join a small but growing team. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and career development opportunities. You'll work flexible hours on a hybrid basis.

Responsibilities:
  • Developing and maintaining core features of our secure browsing products
  • TypeScript and C++ development of a web extension
  • C++ development on a Chromium based secure browser
  • JavaScript and C++ development of a Firefox based secure browser
  • Python development of automation and test components
Requirements:
  • Proficient in C++ design, coding, debugging, and testing
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
Preferred Exposure:
  • Web extension development
  • JavaScript or TypeScript
  • Firefox Gecko code base
  • Chromium code base
