The role involves basic lab quality control skills, identifying quality issues on the lines, and reporting to the appropriate personnel. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sample Collection: Pull required samples at established times to facilitate product quality identification during production.
- Product Verification: Ensure products meet specifications, including codes, packaging, and absence of leaks; notify relevant personnel of deviations.
- Testing and Interpretation: Conduct and interpret tests such as vacuum checks, pH, T.A., flavor, odor, peroxide, Oxonia, microbiological tests, and others as required.
- Lab Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lab, including cleaning racks, counters, equipment, and waste removal.
- Team Participation: Engage in team processes to identify improvements within the lab and plant.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Science training and/or dairy experience preferred.
- Knowledge of food standards, handling, and HACCP is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
