H&P have been mandated by a mid-cap digital infrastructure private equity firm to appoint a VP into their investment team. This is a rare opportunity to join a growing team that invests in core and value-add digital infrastructure, including data centres, fibre, telecom towers, and connectivity platforms. The firm is expanding its portfolio and pipeline across Europe, targeting high-quality, high-growth assets in one of the fastest-growing sectors of infrastructure investing. This hire will be central to deal execution, portfolio management, and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of investments, from sourcing and commercial diligence to execution and portfolio management.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, valuations, and investment committee materials.
- Conduct operational and strategic analysis to optimise portfolio asset performance.
- Coordinate internal teams and external advisors throughout deal execution.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, including Associates and Analysts.
- Support origination initiatives and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, operators, and industry stakeholders.
What You Bring
- 5–7 years’ experience in private equity, investment banking, or infrastructure-focused investing.
- Strong track record of transaction execution, ideally with digital infrastructure exposure.
- Advanced financial modelling, valuation, and due diligence skills.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.
Preferred Applicants
- Plug & play, with direct investing experience into data centres at a current mid or large cap PE fund/Asset Manager.
- London based or German speaking & open to London or Germany.
- Strong track record of origination & deals completed.
