Specializing in a wide array of services including construction, alterations, interior fit-outs, office design, and refurbishment projects, the company caters to both public and private sectors. HP Contracts has extensive experience serving individuals, schools, local authorities, government organizations, and a variety of commercial enterprises.
HP Contracts are based in Chandlers Ford and following a commercial re-evaluation the company are looking to recruit an experienced and capable office-based Administrator to support the team in the administrative requirements of their projects and maintenance of the Company social media presence.
The successful candidate will ideally be familiar with the industry since this position would suit an experienced and capable individual with excellent interpersonal and computer skills.
The work will include:
- Basic office duties (e.g. Telephone, post, correspondence, filing, ordering site welfare and uniforms, office stationery and kitchen supplies)
- Arranging training courses
- Making price enquiries, placing orders, chasing in responses and site reports
- Collating site files & manuals
- Updating social media with news, help support website content
- General administrative requirements to support the management team.
Computer skills are essential (Word, Excel, Outlook) along with a flexible attitude and an organised and methodical approach to work.
Hours: Monday β Friday 8.30am β 5pm
Salary is negotiable, subject to experience.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in standard office software and tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant administrative applications.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
- Attention to detail and proficiency in data entry and documentation preparation.
- Prior experience in administrative roles, preferably in the construction or refurbishment industry, is advantageous.
