We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Digital and Website Marketing Executive to join our marketing team on a full time, permanent basis.
OverviewAs a key contributor to Hozelock’s digital activity, you will work closely with Category, Product, Communications and Commercial teams — under the guidance of your manager — to deliver high‑quality digital content. You will create and maintain all website, retailer and Amazon content, including product descriptions, photography, imagery and video assets. By optimising SEO and ensuring consistency across platforms, you will help provide a smooth, engaging user experience while supporting Hozelock’s commercial performance across UK, international and retail channels.
Duties & Responsibilities- User Experience
- Maintain and update content across Hozelock websites, including product pages, category pages, blogs, and promotional campaigns.
- Ensure all content is SEO-optimised, mobile-responsive, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Implement on-page SEO best practices: meta tags, headings, internal linking, image optimisation, and schema markup.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to keep product information accurate and up to date.
- SEO Planning and Execution
- Conduct keyword research and assist in building content clusters to improve organic rankings.
- Monitor site performance using Google Analytics (GA4), Search Console, and SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush/Ahrefs).
- Prepare monthly SEO and traffic reports with actionable insights.
- Use AI tools for content ideation and optimisation.
- Creative Production
- Design high-quality images for web, social media, and retailer platforms using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva.
- Create and edit short-form videos for product demonstrations, social campaigns, and website use (Adobe Premiere Pro or similar).
- Update product listings, images, and descriptions on Amazon and other retailer portals (e.g., B&Q, Screwfix, Wickes, Argos).
- Ensure compliance with retailer guidelines and optimise content for conversion.
- Support Amazon marketing campaigns (Sponsored Ads, A+ Content) and seasonal promotions.
- Digital Asset Management
- Organise and maintain the digital asset library with accurate metadata for easy stakeholder access.
- Customer and Consumer Support
- Develop high-quality and efficient digital tools to address and resolve customer and consumer website enquiries promptly and effectively.
- Trend Analysis
- Stay updated and share relevant digital trends, industry news, and emerging platforms with stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of SEO principles and experience managing website content.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite or Canva).
- Experience in video editing (Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar).
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Magento2 or similar).
- Basic understanding of Amazon Vendor Central and retailer content portals.
- Experience with GA4 and reporting dashboards (desirable).
- Knowledge of A+ Content best practices and retailer compliance guidelines (desirable).
