Key Responsibilities
- New Product Introductions & Launch Management
- Lead the introduction of all new products into the business and to customers
- Develop and manage product launch plans, coordinating cross-functional launch teams
- Confirm NPIs, complete competitor comparisons, and prepare pricing proposals
- Coordinate system setup of new products with IT and align with Logistics on forecasting and stock
- Ensure accurate product testing by working closely with Production
- Create technical training materials and provide input into compelling commercial arguments
- Support the creation of marketing and sales materials
- Collaborate with the Global Product Team as required
- Track launch progress, deliver updates in commercial meetings, and provide post-launch analysis
- Design and deliver structured technical training programmes for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Services
- Attend internal meetings as the product expert
- Provide technical product support across teams and respond to customer queries
- Manage digital learning platforms for HOYA & SEIKO
- Support the development of sales aids and demonstration tools
- Ensure product availability across ordering platforms to meet customer needs
- Oversee annual price increase processes and production of accurate price lists
- Manage catalogue and price list technical content across all brands
- Drive private label product processes (DRS/PRS)
- Oversee the full lifecycle of each product
- Provide first-line product support to sales teams across all brands
- Monitor sell-out data and competitor activity to identify market opportunities
- Gather and present market evidence to the global product team
- Identify and source products to fill gaps in the HOYA/SEIKO portfolio
- Partner with Lens Experts and Customer Relations on non-tolerance claims
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified and experienced Dispensing Optician
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation capabilities
- Confidence in leading cross-functional teams
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, including Excel and PowerPoint
