As a Lens Surfacing Operator, you will play a vital role in the production process, ensuring the highest quality standards for optical lenses. Your responsibilities will include operating and maintaining surfacing equipment, such as generators, polishers, and lens inspection machines. 3 WEEKLY SHIFT ROTATION:
- 6AM - 2PM
- 12PM - 8PM
- 2PM - 10PM
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate and maintain surfacing equipment, including generators, polishers, and lens inspection machines.
- Produce optical lenses that meet exacting standards and specifications.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure lenses meet quality requirements.
- Follow established procedures and protocols for lens production.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring safety standards are met.
- Collaborate with the production team to optimise production processes.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or issues promptly.
