Job Schedule: Full time
Compensation Package: £12.87 per hour, plus excellent pension up to 10% employer contribution and 6 x basic salary life assurance benefits, annual bonus, bronze cashplan healthcare cover, employee assistance programme, excellent working conditions, uniform and much more.
Hours of Working: Day Shift: 7.30 am to 4.15 pm Monday to Thursday, 12 noon finish on a Friday.
Main Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure all parts are packed in line with QAD and any relevant customer specific packing requirements.
- Deliver finished goods to customers using Company transport.
- Deliver WIP to / collect WIP from subcontractors as directed by Despatch Supervisor using Company transport.
- Ensure batches received from Subcon processes are booked in within 24 hours of receipt.
- Scan shipping / subcontract documentation to network folders as required.
- Support the booking in of Raw Material and subsequent submission of paperwork to Logistics in a timely manner.
- Support the issuing of Raw Material to production batches of Work in Progress.
- Support Despatch Supervisor in adherence to all shipping requirements and export controls for Finished Goods and Sub-Contract WIP where applicable.
- Support Despatch Supervisor to raise QAD shipping paperwork.
- Support Despatch Supervisor to raise shipping labels for third party couriers e.g. FedEx, DHL.
- Ensure Finished Goods are shipped to customers on or before due date if CofC raised on or before due date.
- Ensure batches of parts to go to Sub-Contract and Finished Goods not applicable in 4.2. are despatched within 48 hours of receipt into the department.
Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS):
- Ensure EHS protocols are followed at all times throughout the factory.
- Report accidents and incidents in line with company procedures and work with the Stores Supervisor to implement counter measures.
Quality:
- Ensure all quality procedures are being adhered to in the area(s) of accountability.
- Report any quality issues in line with company procedures and work with the support functions required to implement a permanent solution.
- Ensure high level of control of Finished Goods and Raw Material accuracy is always maintained.
- Ensure goods and services are booked in within 24 hours of receipt in line with Company and ASAT requirements.
- Support maintenance of high standards of workplace organisation using 5S methodology.
Qualifications:
- Full Clean Driving Licence essential.
- Forklift truck license preferred but not essential.
- Experience within a warehouse/dispatch environment required.
