Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily activities of the test laboratory.
- Schedule and test WIP.
- Train and certify lab technicians.
- Maintain calibration of the test equipment.
- Ensure Nadcap MTL requirements are adhered to as defined in internal procedures.
- Schedule team activity to maintain daily required batch closure.
- Maintain test technician certification.
- Liaise with customers to resolve any identified issues.
- Work with process owners to develop internal processes/procedures.
- Maintain laboratory 5S standards.
Qualifications:
- Two years experience in supervising a team.
- Two years experience in mechanical testing.
- Demonstrable ability to interpret industry standards for test requirements.
- Active participation in Nadcap MTL audits.
- Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent experience) in Metallurgy, Metallurgical Engineering or Material Science (Desirable).
