Responsibilities:
- Set, fault find and operate machines to produce fasteners to strict tolerances.
- Use gauges, micrometers, and shadow graphs to ensure parts conform to the drawing.
- Self-certification of personal work.
- Prove out programs to ensure they align with correct timings in accordance with manufacturing and quality standards.
- Keep all computer files and manual paperwork accurate and up to date.
- Responsible for producing SPC charts and records.
- Ensure housekeeping is maintained to the highest standards.
- Adhere to all quality procedures and participate in root cause analysis.

- Train on all machines to ensure 100% flexibility in the workplace and train others once fully trained.
- Participate in locally focused or multi-functional continuous improvement teams.
- Work as a fully flexible team member to maximise production and quality levels.
- Maximise plant and resource utilisation.

Qualifications:
- Experience in the operation of RSS and Okuma preferred or any external grinding experience.
- Experience working within a busy manufacturing environment.
- Experience setting grinding machines.
- Aerospace experience would be advantageous.
