We are seeking qualified and experienced RT Level 2 Technicians to join our team at Howmet Aerospace. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and safety of investment castings. The successful candidate will operate X-ray and gamma radiographic equipment using conventional film and / or non-film digital techniques, interpret results, and ensure compliance with stringent customer specifications. This role operates on a swing shift pattern, 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm.

Interpersonal Responsibilities
This position has frequented internal contact with Engineering , Quality and other Manufacturing departments.
Essential Job Functions for Radiographers Level 2
- Sets up and operates 320 KV X-ray units and IR192 Gamma units to radiograph investment castings according to customer requirements.
- Darkroom operations – Loading film cassettes , basic processor maintenance and cleaning
- Processing and sorting film.
- Operate densitometers to verify film densities.
- Complete records as required for the process which include internal , customer and NADCAP requirements,
- Must be able to read and follow set up techniques.
- Interpretation of radiographs and or digital images to determine if castings are free of internal defects per customer requirements.
- Must be able to read customer acceptance criteria\’s.
- Determines if any repairs or rework is necessary.
- Maintains work area in a clean, orderly and safe condition.
- Performs other duties assigned by supervision.
