We are appointing a Director of Executive Management Office to lead business operations and drive disciplined execution across the organisation.

This is a senior leadership role for someone who brings structure to complex environments, ensures priorities are delivered at pace, and maintains clear oversight of performance.

The Director of Executive Management Office will work closely with senior leadership to translate strategy into action and ensure consistent delivery across functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Executive Management Office as the central execution function
  • Oversee day‑to‑day operations, maintaining pace, structure, and delivery across teams
  • Drive execution of business priorities, ensuring alignment between strategy and delivery
  • Establish and track performance frameworks (planning, reporting, KPIs) to monitor progress
  • Identify and address risks, inefficiencies, and delivery challenges early
  • Support commercial performance through oversight of pipeline, forecasting, and resourcing
  • Enable effective decision‑making through clear governance and reporting
  • Ensure cross‑functional alignment and accountability across the organisation

This role suits individuals who operate with a high level of ownership and consistency and have experience and depth in a consulting environment. The successful candidate will:

  • Maintain effective oversight across multiple priorities without loss of pace or quality
  • Focus on commercial priorities, costs and risks to the business, as well as key deliverables whilst having oversight of leaders, high performance, and exceptional client experience
  • Identify and resolve delivery risks early, before they impact outcomes
  • Deliver clear improvements in operational performance, execution, or efficiency
  • Operate confidently in ambiguous or fast‑moving environments
  • Set clear expectations and maintain accountability across teams
  • Fit Indicators/Signals of Strength

Strong candidates typically demonstrate

  • Having a commercial and client experience focus, whilst identifying clear systems, needs and pathways for scale and business growth
  • Deep commercial and consulting experience
  • Experience building or improving operational structures, governance, or reporting frameworks
  • A track record of driving execution across teams, not just coordinating activity
  • Ability to maintain control and visibility in high‑demand, multi‑priority environments
  • Experience supporting senior leaders with decision‑making and performance insight
  • Evidence of improving delivery consistency, efficiency, or operational discipline
  • Candidate Requirements
  • Significant experience in senior operational, Chief of Staff, or business management roles
  • Experience leading operational and/or commercial functions in a complex environment
  • Strong understanding of performance metrics, financial drivers, and operational delivery
  • Proven ability to influence and work closely with senior leadership
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage competing demands
