Job Title: Credit Controller Job Type: Permanent, full time Location: Bracknell, Berkshire Salary: £28000 per annum Reference no: 16192 Credit Controller – Benefits 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Hybrid working- post probation Flexible working hours Car parking onsite Brilliant working culture Credit Controller – About The Role In this role you will be reporting into the Finance Manager and will be working within a finance team of 8. You will be working alongside 1 other Credit Controller, and your key responsibilities will be: Updating cashbooks and reviewing foreign bank accounts for incoming funds Taking ownership of customer ledger and proactively managing outstanding balances Chasing outstanding debt, resolving queries, and initiating proceedings where required Reconciling key customer and national accounts, raising discrepancies with internal teams Producing regular reports and invoices including uploading to customer portals Preparing consolidated reports, customer statements, and month-end information for the Finance Controller Managing credit balances, debit notes, back orders, and exchange rate updates Support with other relevant finance & admin duties as required The successful Credit Controller will have: Previous experience with Credit Control duties Ability to communicate at all levels Strong organisational skills Howett Thorpe are acting as a recruitment agency in relation to this role and comply with all relevant UK legislation and do not discriminate on any protected characteristics.
