Job Description
Our client, an engineering firm based in Woking, is seeking a reliable and hands-on Warehouse / Stock Assistant to join their team on a 2 week temporary basis, with the possibility of extension. This is a physical, fast-paced role involving the handling, sorting, and organisation of stock. You will play a key role in ensuring the accurate logging and preparation of items for resale, storage, or recycling.

Warehouse / Stock Assistant – About The Role
- Lift, move, and repack boxes of apparel (including luggage, t-shirts, polos, trousers, trainers, and other clothing)
- Repack, count, and organise stock onto Euro pallets for shipment or storage
- Maintain accurate stock records: logging sizes, quantities, and condition using paperwork and Excel spreadsheets
- Allocate and prepare stock for the resale account
- Identify and sort used or damaged stock for recycling
- Support general warehouse duties as needed
The successful Warehouse / Stock Assistant will have:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, stockroom, or logistics environment
- Comfortable with manual handling and lifting of boxes
- Strong attention to detail for accurate stock logging and repacking
- Basic knowledge of Excel and stock documentation
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
