This growing, market-leading organisation based in Surbiton are seeking an ambitious Management Accountant to join their team. You will be joining a high growth global business that offers a great working culture and career progression. Furthermore, this role is mostly office based however does offer flexible working and are currently trailing several hybrid working alternatives. About The Role:
In this role you will be working within a finance team of 8 and will be reporting into the Head of Finance. You will be a vital player at month end, handling the whole process and your key responsibilities will be:
- Own all technical accounting processes: month-end close, reconciliations and trial balance review.
- Production of monthly management accounts and providing necessary commentary.
- Produce weekly and monthly analysis and reports for cross-departmental and company level performance.
- Perform detailed variance analysis and related investigations across a range of reporting.
- Ensure all compliance and filing obligations are met for all entities.
- Continuously improve finance processes, designing and implementing automations.
- Build and maintain reporting tools e.g. on sales performance, client profitability and commission tracking.
- Ensure quarterly VAT returns are prepared, reviewed and submitted on time.
- Produce debtor aging analysis and risk dashboards.
The successful Management Accountant will have:
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Be actively studying ACCA or CIMA
- Strong Excel skills and use of Power BI
- Great attention to detail
- An ambitious mindset
