About The Role:
Joining as an Audit Supervisor, you will take ownership of audit engagements from planning to completion. You will lead fieldwork on client sites, build strong relationships, and ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality. You will also mentor and support junior team members, fostering a positive learning environment while upholding high professional standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead audit assignments from planning through completion, delivering work on time and to a high standard
- Review and provide constructive feedback on work prepared by junior team members to support their development
- Collaborate with the wider audit team to manage workloads and maintain consistent quality across engagements
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships
- Use audit software and remote tools to deliver services efficiently both on site and off site
- Monitor budgets and timelines to ensure work stays within scope and agreed deadlines
The successful Audit Supervisor will have:
- ACA or ACCA qualified, or actively working towards qualification
- Experience in corporate audit across multiple industry sectors
- Solid knowledge of FRS 102 and/or IFRS
- Confident communicator with clients and colleagues at all levels
- Proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and team development
- Strong interest in understanding clients' businesses and strategic objectives
