This growing, multi-site organisation based in Guildford are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team. You will be joining a vibrant business that offers flexible working hours as well as great career stability. About The Role:
In this role you will be working within a finance team of 7 and will be reporting into the Head of Finance. You will assist in the preparation of the monthly management accounts as well as supporting with the daily running of the finance function.
Your key responsibilities:
- Supporting in the preparation of financial forecasts and management accounts.
- Post adjustment journals, including accruals and prepayments.
- Complete monthly bank balance sheet reconciliations.
- Perform VAT balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Supporting ongoing cashflow forecasting and monitoring.
- Undertake BACS payment approvals in line with financial controls.
- Raise sales invoices and record remittances accurately.
- Preparation and posting of payroll journals.
The successful Assistant Management Accountant will have:
- Previous experience in a similar position.
- AAT/QBE/Part qualified candidates will be considered.
- Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping.
- High level attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
