Fantastic opportunity for an upcoming Graduate to secure a truly varied role that will allow you the opportunity to gain vast experience in Accounts, Audit and Tax. With full study support, commence your journey to become a Chartered Accountant at this well-established and independent firm. You will work closely with the Managers and Directors as well as the other members of the team. This firm rewards hard work and dedication with excellent career prospects. Graduate Accountant – About The Role

Unlike most opportunities within Practice, you will gain broad and varied experience, allowing you to reach your full potential as you work your way through the ACA or ACCA qualification.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assist with Audit Engagements, working your way up to more complex areas as you gain experience
  • Statutory accounts production, ready for review
  • Liaise with clients to go over any queries and request required information
  • Assist with preparation of Tax computations, both Corporate and Personal
  • Work on a unique portfolio of clients; the firm has an enviably client base for an independent practice

The successful Graduate Accountant will have:

  • Strong academic background with good results throughout GCSE and A-Levels
  • A degree in a STEM subject such as Mathematics, Physics or Accounting, with a grade of 2:1 or higher
  • Hunger and eagerness to pursue a career in Accountancy and study professional qualifications
  • Confidence and strong communication skills to liaise directly with clients
