We are currently recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join a busy and fast-paced organisation on an ongoing temporary basis during a busy period.
Job Type: Temporary
Location: Farnborough, Surrey – Office Based (Monday to Friday)
Salary: £14 per hour plus holiday pay
Start: Immediate
About the Role
This is a varied and important role, providing sales and technical support while coordinating customer orders through the business. You will work closely with customers, sales teams and internal departments to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered smoothly.
Key responsibilities:
- Processing and compiling machine orders
- Communicating with customers, field sales teams, distributors and internal departments
- Checking product specifications and ensuring customer requirements are correctly understood
- Entering order details onto ERP systems and preparing written order acknowledgements
- Liaising with Procurement, Engineering and Manufacturing teams
- Supporting the resolution of application and delivery issues
- Assisting with product testing to ensure requirements are met
- Supporting customer visits, including PDI and FAT, when required
- Contributing to ongoing process improvement projects
- Managing administrative discrepancies and ensuring orders are processed accurately
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in Customer Service, Sales Support, Order Processing or a similar administrative role
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office and Excel
- The ability to work confidently with different departments and stakeholders
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- The ability to manage their own workload while also working effectively within a team
- A proactive and hands-on approach
