We're looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to join our successful team at Howett Thorpe.
This is a rare opportunity created by a long-standing member of the team relocating to Australia.
Rather than building from scratch, you'll inherit a well-established temporary and interim recruitment desk with loyal clients, a strong reputation and significant opportunities for further growth.

The Opportunity
You'll take ownership of an established portfolio while driving continued growth through business development and exceptional client service.
Your responsibilities will include
- Building strong relationships with an existing portfolio of loyal clients.
- Identifying and winning new business opportunities across your market.
- Growing and developing your client base through a proactive, structured approach.
- Generating opportunities through a combination of warm leads, referrals and targeted new business activity.
- Working closely with candidates and clients to deliver an outstanding recruitment service.
About You
We're looking for someone who is commercially driven, enjoys developing relationships and has the confidence to create new business opportunities. You'll ideally have:
- A proven track record in recruitment, business development or a consultative sales role.
- Experience within a service-led industry, although other sales backgrounds will also be considered.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A positive, resilient approach and the motivation to exceed targets.
- The ambition to develop your career within a growing independent business.
